I like to put things off last minute even though I know fully well that I'm never going to be able to make it in time. I calculate the time to drive to school and walk to class and wait for the exact time to leave. Therefore if it takes 20 minutes to get to class I will leave 20 minutes before class starts. I guess that's better than most people, but the reluctancy doesn't change and the stress level rises. The worst one is putting off school work. I have very bad study habits and have a tough time committing myself to sitting down and reading/work. I keep telling myself to change but I keep choosing get distracted, for a good 12 years.
The answer is pretty obvious to me, but really I'm having a tough time applying it. CREATE A SCHEDULE AND FOLLOW IT.
So I'm throwing it out there to anyone who wants to respond to it.What do you guys think? How do you guys struggle to succeed in whatever school you got right now.

I mean I have a list of things to do and I get around to it because I HAVE TO but they're really last minute too.
Like in my Gmail I have a list of things to do and its a good reminder because I always have my Gmail on. And a list of goals and personal wants in my life. It helps me stay motivated.
You just gotta suck up and do it.
Personally, for me... I think life's short and I wanna live my life trying to fulfill my dreams. But we can talk about that later over coffee bean over winter break on why I have that perspective. College showed me a lot of things. It's too much to type.
But everyone's lazy and its just a matter of self-discipline and what you want in life I think. The people who are successful in life are people who worked really hard for what they want, they don't lazy around. So perhaps find your personal calling I guess
Cheezy I know but I'm a cheezy guy XP
(I should be studying... but here I am hahaha)

Think good things. Say good things. Do good things.
procrastination brings out the best in you. it tells you what you really like to be doing instead. the phdcomics dude, jorge cham, draws comics to procrastinate from his phd work. it took him many years to get his phd because he procrastinates a lot, but now the result of his procrastination (the comics) earn him more money than his phd could.
go procrastination!

...but seriously, you just need to up your self-discipline and block off any distractions.
When I know that I NEED to study or get something done, I lock myself in a study room at school with no computer, DS, food, drawing stuff, etc, and stay there until I get my shit done. Try it out!
Home never works though, because there's distractions EVERYWHERE. Find a place where there's nothing and study there :>
